Candlewood Suites Buffalo Amherst by IHG

Our stay was made great by James at the front desk beginning with our Friday 10pm arrival until our Monday morning departure. I had originally booked a room for arrival on Friday 9/20 with departure on Sunday 9/22 using American Airlines points. We needed to stay an extra night and I was unable to modify original booking so booked an additional night stay through Booking.com which was a different room type. Upon check-in I mentioned that I had 2 different reservations. As I was traveling with elderly parents, James double checked Saturday evening to be sure our current room (1st reservation) was not reserved for Sunday and in doing so saw that I was an IHG member and was able to allow us to stay in our original room without having to check out and move our belongings. After a busy check in afternoon on Sunday, he had our new keys to the same room waiting for us upon our return to the hotel in the afternoon which was greatly appreciated.

This is a no-frills hotel. There is no breakfast provided in any way, which is totally fine with me. The single studio room will be perfect for my next stay when I bring my dog. The room was clean. I slept on the pullout bed and it was comfortable enough for me.

Our room on the third floor was clean, quiet, and comfy as expected. Everything worked as expected.

I really liked the location, the cleanliness of the room and the accommodations, most of the staff was friendly and helpful

This hotel was perfect for me.
